Ranjan Ghosh is an Associate Professor at the Center for Management in Agriculture at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, India. He is the lead coordinator for the UN-SDSN led Food, Agriculture, Land, Biodiversity, Energy (FABLE) Consortium for India. Prior to joining IIMA, he worked and taught at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) Uppsala, Sweden. He holds a PhD in Resource Economics from Humboldt University Berlin, Germany is an affiliated researcher with the Elinor Ostrom Workshop, Indiana University Bloomington. He is an advisor to several national and international agencies such as The Nature Conservancy, Food Systems Economics Commission, World Health Organization, Environmental Defense Fund, European Union, CGIAR Global, Ministry of Agriculture, FSSAI, VAMNICOM (Ministry of Cooperatives) and Government of Gujarat. He also sits on the board of a large public sector enterprise and serves as chairperson of the sub-committee for concurrent evaluation at the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare (GOI).
Pranab leads Center for land Governance, which, seeks to enrich and expand land governance space with actors, evidences and collaborative spaces. CLG works on inter-disciplinary issues connecting land tenure and land uses; also hosts India Land and Development Conference (ILDC). As a researcher and consultant, Pranab, has been working around natural resources management and governance, for more than 25 years - first as scientist with ICAR and later with development sector, working across sectors and geographies South Asia.
Yugank Goyal is an Associate Professor of Public Policy at FLAME University. He was a founding faculty member at O.P. Jindal Global University, where he focused on institution building, research infrastructure, and international collaborations. Prior to that, he worked for a major private bank, consulting on rural infrastructure projects in eastern India. He holds a Master's and PhD in law and economics as an Erasmus Mundus Fellow from Europe. His research interests include regulation, law and development, institutional economics, knowledge structure, and psephology. Yugank also teaches interdisciplinary subjects and serves as visiting faculty at institutions like IIMA and IIMK. He founded the Center for Knowledge Alternatives at FLAME University, which maps local data and cultures in India.
Vartika Singh is Senior Research Analyst in the Environment, Production and Technology Division of IFPRI in New Delhi and Senior Research Officer at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India. Vartika is currently pursuing her PhD from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany and is guest researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. Her interests include topics around the nexus of food-water-energy and land. She uses tools such as CGE and PE models to assess integrated assessment of water, energy and climate policies that form sustainable transformation pathways for India. These activities form her PhD dissertation work as well as the Nexus-Gains Initiative under the One-CGIAR umbrella. She has previously worked on applied behavioral microeconomic experiments to address barriers in sustainable intensification of agriculture, as part of the Cereal Systems Initiative for South Asia project. She holds a Master's degree in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, India and a Bachelor's in Economics from Hindu College at Delhi University, India.
Ms. Prantika Das works as a Senior Research Officer at IIM Ahmedabad. She has extensive experience in applied economics in biofuels development and is presently working on exploring sustainable transformation pathways for food and land use in India through her research.
Ankit Saha is a Research Associate in Centre for Management in Agriculture at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He holds a Master's degree in International Business Economics and Finance from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics in Pune. He has since worked in the field of development and agricultural economics, and is currently working with the UN-SDSN led Food, Agriculture, Land, Biodiversity, Energy (FABLE) Consortium for India. He is a dedicated researcher and plans to pursue his PhD in the near future.
Aditi Joshi works as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. She holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computing from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, and a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Lucknow. Her areas of interest include Machine Learning, Artificial intelligence, and Deep Learning.
Sayali is a Research Associate in Centre for Management in Agriculture, at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. She has completed her Master's in Economics from the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics and her Bachelor's from the University of Mumbai.
