Aim
ILDC (India Land and Development Conference) as a platform, seeks to promote and establish an ‘Academic Alliance around Land Tenure and Governance (All-LAND)’ by bringing together scholars, working on and around Indian land issues and disciplines in India and outside, and promote interdisciplinary research partnerships and enrich policy-practice improvements.

To solve important problems on land-related issues in India through building collaborative and interdisciplinary knowledge in the area.
Mission
Building coordinated, synergistic and informed academic partnerships across land disciplines and with land actors that can aid in teaching, research and training.
Objectives/Outcomes
- Land academia and researchers are informed, enabled and connected with each other and with practitioners and policy-actors in Governments, Civil Society and Businesses
- Expanded options, resources and avenues to conduct relevant research, training and teaching activities along with scope to directly engage with policy and practice through projects
- Increased courses, publications, data and information, theories, tools and patents around land disciplines enriching education and research as well as policy and practice space
- Advisory and accreditation roles where eclectic and diverse expertise of the Alliance can be called for
- Extensive web-portal acting as an integrated knowledge inventory for land-related ideas, outcomes and processes that are of interest to the community
